Ant Buffet
Ant Buffet was created for the Ryan Laley Games Game Jam 2025, with the theme “You are food”.
Ant Buffet is a tower defense game with a tasty twist: you’re a cookie, and five types of hungry ants are coming to eat you. Use your chocolate chips to build up to five kinds of defensive towers, but be careful! Spending chips also costs you life. Can you strike the balance between survival and defense?
How to play:
- Place turrets / LeftCLick
- Sell towers / RightClick

How do you earn chips?
What do each of the guns do?
What are their ranges/speed?
Can you sell towers?
Why does the enemy wave get stronger than what I can afford? Earning enough to buy a anti-air gun is impossible when you can't even have enough guns to stop the previous waves.
I'm confused as to how this is playable, sorry.
why are the towers numbered but the number keys do not save your mouse hand from carpal tunneling back and forth?
I think the numbers relate to cost, not hotkeys. There's a couple that cost the same.
Yhea is confusing, teh idea is to sell and buy constantly, so you can use the chips to heal or to buy other towers, at then end it doesnt feel that great, but at least I uploaded something. Thx for playinggg!
Yhea, I had like one hour left to do a lot of stuff. The game was rushed srry. You earn chips by defeating waves, you can sell towers by rightClicking on them. Thx for playingg!
