LooPss

(The Windows version works much better, there's no lag, the shaders and glow effects work, and it looks way cooler.)

LooPss is a twist on the classic snake game, made for the LOOP GMTK game jam.

Control the snake using the arrow keys, WASD, or your mouse. Whichever feels best!

The main mechanic revolves around creating loops: when the snake loops around and connects its head to its tail, it activates or reverses contraptions in the level, depending on the direction of the loop. Loop right to move mechanisms forward, loop left to reverse them! 

Use your looping skills to solve puzzles and navigate increasingly tricky levels!

I made all the art myself, except for the grass walls and the coin.
Some of the sounds were made by me, and others are a mix of copyright-free sounds from the internet that I modified.
